CRS has coal, intermodal, bulk, agriculture rostering experience, and has internal experience of dealing with several different employee agreements.
Majority of disruption for RHP’s is felt in the live run/day of environment where services are impacted by track defects, signal irregularities, other RHP’s, customer issues at loadsites, terminal issues, issues at unload locations and rollingstock defects. It is an incredibly niche skill to be able to manage disruption without impacting other services and minimising the impact of this disruption can save services. CRS has experience managing coal, intermodal, bulk, livestock services in the live run environment from services travelling from Sydney-Perth, MT Isa to Brisbane, dozens of consists in the Hunter Valley and within complex capital city networks of Sydney and Brisbane. CRS can provide live run services and report impacts back to customers as they are happening.
With internal experience at CRS we understand the complexities of managing a terminal with multiple train consists on hand, having to set freight up on trains for certain locations, how important wagon types in particular locations can be. CRS can manage these challenges to allow RHP’s to focus on operations for their customers.
CRS understands the value and necessity of planned maintenance but also the requirement to reduce maintenance to allow services to run and generate revenue. CRS has experience with several different wagon and loco types and the maintenance required and can manage maintenance plans and the tracking of these works on the customers behalf.
